Follow these prescriptive steps to get your vessel organized:

1. Add your vessel

Open BoatPassport.app, create a new vessel profile, and enter your make, model, year, and hull/engine IDs.

2. Build an asset list

For each item (engine, prop, navigation gear, rigging, batteries, hull), create an equipment entry. Be sure to include serial numbers, purchase dates, manuals, and photos for a complete record.

3. Create maintenance tasks
